Announcement of new UNESCO Learning Cities: Empowering Individuals, Transforming Societies

Join us on February 14, 2024, as we celebrate the addition of 64 cities from 35 countries to the UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities (GNLC).

These cities have demonstrated exceptional commitment to fostering lifelong learning opportunities for all within their local communities.

Under the theme "Empowering Learners of All Ages: UNESCO Learning Cities Transform Lives," a virtual event will showcase the unveiling of these new member cities. Mayors from selected UNESCO learning cities will share their strategies for turning the right to education across all ages into reality.
