On Tuesday 20 September the UNESCO Framework for Enabling Intercultural Dialogue and accompanying global report We Need to Talk Measuring intercultural dialogue for peace and inclusion developed in partnership with the Institute for Economics and Peace were launched The launch was led by UNESCO Assistant DirectorGeneral for the Social and Human Sciences Gabriela Ramos At a time of increased tensions racism and xenophobia the need for intercultural dialogue as a tool for creating transformative communication capable of building understanding trust and cooperation is greater than ever

The United against racism and discrimination stamp launched in September 2021 by La Poste the French Post Office in close cooperation with UNESCOs Social and Human Sciences Sector was selected for the 31st edition of La Postes Stamp Awards Ceremony In the most beautiful stamp 2021 category it received the third prize during the Stamp Election 2021 evening organized on 23 June 2022
